OKM on Tour in Southeast Asia
OKM Explores Asia's Treasure Hunting World
Embarking on an enthralling expedition across Southeast Asia, Stephan Grund, CEO of OKM embarked on a journey that unveiled not only flourishing businesses but also delved into the passionate world of treasure hunters.
Grund's first stop led him to Vourvon Electronica in the Philippines. This family-run establishment, boasting 26 employees, has emerged as a hub for ardent treasure seekers. Notably, Alan Borbon, who is also the President of the Treasure Hunters Association in the Philippines, engaged with the enthusiastic team at Vourvon Electronica.
His visit coincided with a pivotal moment: A new law in the Philippines allowing individuals to retain finds on private property, a development Grund applauded while emphasizing the importance for everyone to familiarize themselves with local laws.
His journey continued to Heysung in China, a substantial enterprise with 50 employees, 20 specializing in the field of metal detectors. As an official OKM dealer since 2012, Heysung remains a cornerstone in the industry, boasting a dedicated team and contributing significantly to the metal detection arena.
Last, but not least, Grund visited Wuhan Pioneer Century, a stalwart in the industry for 25 years, housing 10 employees. The stop offered insights into a longstanding establishment committed to the craft.
Stephan Grund's tour across Asia not only showcased thriving businesses but also underlined the fervor and dedication prevalent among treasure hunters and metal detection enthusiasts. His interactions and observations provided valuable perspectives on this captivating world.
