Mounting the stairs to the higher floors offered a view from the gallery into the foyer and finally led to the top, which overwhelmed with a view of Altenburg as well as the beautifully landscaped garden. Back in the foyer, an exhibition of the OKM's first and current detectors awaited visitors.

Children were also invited to become a junior prospector and to search for treasures in the test field. If that was too exciting, visitors were invited to cool off with a few jumps in the bouncy castle or with an ice cream.
Special Guest: Natural History Museum
With the Altenburg Museum of Natural History Mauritianum, OKM acquired a special partner at its side: Geologist Lutz Gebhardt amazed with his enormous knowledge of the subsurface, the area that treasure hunters have to deal with in many variations when recovering their finds. Various minerals and materials such as silver and meteorite could be tested with a detector and examined in detail under the microscope.

In addition to BBQ and refreshing drinks, the mobile ice cream truck also attracted visitors with delicious cooling. Visitors and guests were served coffee and cake by the students of grade 11 of the Christian Spalatin Highschool Altenburg.
